Episode 9 :: Sep.04.2003 :: FINALE!

Ninth and final episode airs.  Official site says: After several heated discussions, the family votes to determine which previously-eliminated family member returns to the contest. The Board of Trustees' selected finalist goes head-to-head with the family's candidate in a fierce mental and physical challenge. The ultimate winner of the million-dollar trust is finally revealed, but have the family ties been broken?  Cousin Mike versus Cousin Anthony for the final million dollar prize.  Cousin Anthony wins!  And divides the money equally among all family members.

 

Episode 8 :: Sep.04.2003 ::

Eighth episode airs.  Official site says:  Anxiety levels rise in this double-elimination episode where the eighth and ninth family members are ejected from competition. The identity of the Secret Board of Trustees is revealed to the family, and the remaining players plead their case to stay in the game. After deliberation, the Board announces their decision of who will advance to the final competition. Also, the family begins to ponder which previously-ousted relative they should allow to re-enter the game.  First two facing the Board is Cousin Ed and Cousin Mike.  Cousin Ed is denied the family fortune.  Second couple facing the Board is Cousin Mike and Cousin Dawn Marie, and Cousin Dawn Marie is locked out of the family fortune.

 

Episode 7 :: Aug.27.2003 ::

Seventh episode airs. Official site says:  The game intensifies when the family attends a high-society soiree where they must combine charm and intelligence to qualify for the fantasy challenge. The two family members who prevail are whisked to Walt Disney World, where they are reunited with relatives from home. Find out which family member joins the already-eliminated Cousin Robert, Cousin Melinda, Cousin Maria, Aunt Donna and Cousin Anthony.  Cousins Ed and Jill face the Board and Cousin Jill is denied the family fortune.

 

Episode 6 :: Aug.20.2003 ::

Sixth episode airs.  Cousins Mike and Rob face the Board and Cousin Rob is locked out of the family fortune.

 

Episode 5 :: Aug.13.2003 ::

Fifth episode airs. Challenges include throwing a party and being judged on etiquette, presentation, menu, etc.  Cousins Mike and Anthony go before the Board of Trustee and Cousin Anthony is locked out of the family fortune.

 

Episode 4 :: Aug.06.2003 ::

Fourth episode airs. Challenges include guessing prices for luxury items. Aunt Donna is locked out of the family fortune.

 

Episode 1-3 :: Jul.31.2003 ::

ABC brings back the show and combines the first three episodes to catch everyone up.  Will start airing weekly again next Wednesday evening.

 

Episode 3 :: Mar.18.2003 ::

Third episode airs. The guys start their day with massages. Then the family is divided into two teams, and have a yacht race. Next day is breakfast in bed followed by tennis lessons. The elimination task is to be paired up, holding a cocktail tray and adding glasses every 40 seconds. Aunt Donna and Uncle Michael win and send Mike and Maria before the Board. Maria is locked out of the family fortune.    

 

Episode 2 :: Mar.11.2003 ::

Second episode airs.  The gang gets etiquette classes.  Then they get to play polo - on donkeys.  A workout instructor visits and catches all the men's attention.  To determine who goes before the Board of Trustees, the family has to play a truth or lie game about each other, and the first to lose their chips will get presented before the Board.  Melinda and Dawn Marie lose and Melinda is locked out of the family fortune. 

 

Episode 1 :: Mar.04.2003 ::

First episode airs. We meet the family as they move into the mansion. The first elimination task is in the form of an auction, each family member receiving money and having to bid on each other's potraits. Mike and Rob's portaits sell for the highest and they go before the Board of Trustees. Rob is first to be locked out of the family fortune.
